You deserve to be the Best Version of Yourself: Body – Mind – Spirit
To be the best version of yourself, you must have equilibrium in both your physical body and emotional body.
Acupuncture helps to restore a person to a state of homeostasis so you can heal.
Acupuncture is typically known for helping with pain or physical injury - from neck pain, to low back pain to sciatica to any type of physical ailment, but Acupuncture can help with so much more, from anxiety, stress, depression, trauma, toxins, gastrointestinal (digestive), gynecological, fertility, autoimmune, immune, addiction, diabetes, weight, infections, hormonal disorders, sleep issues, allergies, respiratory, eye, ear, nose, throat, skin disorders like psoriasis or eczema, headaches/migraines, circulatory, etc.
When looking at what can cause a person to be “out of balance,” I refer to the four things, which typically cause internal Disease or Dis-Ease in our modern life: Toxic Emotions, Toxic Food, Toxins in the Environment and Lifestyle Choices.
In Chinese Medicine, we look for symptoms of where a person is out of balance inside their body using a list of primary questions, physical symptoms as well as looking at your tongue and the Chinese Medicine system of pulse diagnosis.
It doesn't matter what the cause of the dis-ease is, with Acupuncture we focus not just on your symptoms, but on the person as a whole and the root of the Dis-Ease.
Two different people can have the same Western disease diagnosis, but need to be treated differently with Chinese Medicine.
Acupuncturist Training / Certification: Acupuncture School takes four years on average to complete full time and includes the same Bio-Science requirements/classes as a student in Western Medical School as well an in depth study and mastery of Chinese Medicine. Both course loads Western and Eastern are taken at the same time as well as hundreds of clinical hours, National Board Licensing exams and state licensing requirements.
How does Acupuncture work?
The human body has 12 channels running through the body connected to our organ systems as well as 8 extra channels, which influence the main channels.
There are over 360 acupuncture points on the channels as well as extra points off the channels. Each acupuncture point has a specific action or function and when acupuncture points are combined very clear messages are sent to your body in what action to take.
Your body does the healing! The human body is an electric body and grid functioning within a frequency range that either represents a state of health and balance or a state of dis-ease. Acupuncture sends a very specific message to your body to take an action to heal itself. Whether you have any type of "condition" like colitis for example, or a physical injury, the bodies electrical frequency in that area will need fine tuning to heal.
To best heal, we often need to step back and observe our bodies, our life, our thoughts and circumstance from a perspective almost outside of ourselves. This way, we can awaken to what we have to change to become our best self. This transformation comes from that perspective. I’ll help guide you to the best version of yourself. Acupuncture assists the body in being self-aware; receiving the message that’s it’s time to make a change.
The first appointment is roughly 90 minutes and a very thorough intake is conducted to insure we aren’t just treating symptoms, but you, as an entire person.
With every follow up treatment we assess and re-assess where you are and what messages the body needs to hear, to heal itself. Acupuncture is cumulative, the more the body hears a message of what to change, the better the outcome and faster you heal.
How many treatments will you need? If you have an acute physical injury that you've never experienced before, you might just need a few treatments. If you have pain from a long time, reoccurring injury or an internal dis-ease that you've been living with for a long time, you might need treatments once a week for a few months or even half a year. Really, it's different for every person and is based on your body.
"I could only walk for short periods and had to use a cane. I’d never done acupuncture before and was a little leery about the needles, but they didn’t hurt at all. Jason helped me to get rid of a baker’s cyst behind my knee that I had for years. I can walk now without a cane and I feel like I have my life back."
- Annette W.
"I came to Jason not being able to sleep through the night…I used to wake up every night in pain around the bottom of my ribs, had acid reflux, was overweight with high blood pressure and had erectile difficulties. I am forever grateful to Jason. With his acupuncture and nutrition coaching I am no longer in pain, don’t wake up in the middle of the night, can get a full erection, and he helped me change how I think about and my relationship with food, losing weight was just from learning how to nourish myself. Because of him I have a better relationship with my wife; he helped me to see things in different perspectives and points of view. I had no idea he would change my life and leave a lasting imprint, he is compassionate and gifted in his craft."
- Michael H.
"A Doctor that genuinely listens to his patient and treats each patient as a valuable individual beyond the treatment he provides. Never in a rush, Dr Jason offers life altering nutrition and wellbeing advice, answers all questions with joy and patience and explains each step of the treatmen. I have had several treatments with immediate results to chronic health issues. His understanding and expertise are of the highest level."

Jason Pyeatt L.Ac. - I've worked in media broadcasting, media relations, public affairs and voice talent work.
With an interest in wanting to help the world be a better place, I completed a masters degree in diplomacy/international relations focused in conflict resolution.
A passion for self-nourishment and wellness led me to a nutrition school becoming a certified Functional Nutrition Holistic Health Coach.
So why Acupuncture? The work I did in Public Affairs was in the Army. I served 15 years, getting out of the service as a Major in 2014. Like a lot of Soldiers, I sustained a few injuries...5 herniations, a cracked vertebrae and tore both hip labrums. I lived with chronic pain until I found acupuncture, now I'm pain free. I was also twice stationed in an industrial port overseas, which in turn gave me psoriasis. Acupuncture, changing my diet and detoxing helped me get rid of psoriasis.
I saw the ability of Traditional Chinese Medicine to bring a person into balance: Body-Mind-Spirit allowing a person to truly Heal themselves.
I meet someone where they are and want to help someone become the best version of themselves - I treat all conditions and have a personal passion in the areas of pain, emotional support/trauma, digestion and autoimmune.

I am also a Certified Functional Nutrition Holistic Health Coach. In utilizing a Mind-Body-Spirit paradigm I focus on health and dietary recommendations based on a persons lifestyle, their own body and history, a persons relationship with food, food and emotions/not using food to feed emotions, self-nourishment and love and acceptance of self.
There are a myriad of dietary theories and there is no one diet for every person.
A person can fully meet the needs of their body regardless of whether they eat animal meat, are vegetarian or vegan.
How we nourish ourselves is a representation of the love we have for ourselves.
You deserve the best state of wellness, to be the best version of yourself.
